Good news for Monaco businesses! Following an Ordinance passed by Prince Albert on 24 October, 2018 (n°7.174), the Monegasque corporate tax regime will be modified effective from 1 January, 2019. The original tax rate of 33,33% used since 1993 will progressively decrease to 25%  on the following calendar:

-              31% as of 1 January, 2019;
-              28% as of 1 January, 2020;
-              26,5% as of 1 January, 2021;
-              25% as of 1 January, 2022.

This new regime will be similar to the French one that will also decrease progressively its corporate tax rates.
